Supported Independent Living (SIL)

At NS Disability, we will help find a home for you based on Your Needs and where You Want to Live. Whether you’re needing a new home, support in your current home, or already have a housing provider, we offer a flexible approach tailored to your unique situation.

Our accommodation services are supported by a highly skilled care team, with 24/7 access to in-house doctors and nurses who are trained in complex health needs. From short breaks to medium-term stays, we provide safe, comfortable homes and personalised support to help you live more independently.

Short term accommodation

Short Term Accommodation, sometimes known as respite, is support for when you need to live out of home for a short period. This can be a great opportunity for you and your carers to have a well-earned short break.

Medium term accommodation

Medium Term Accommodation supports you while you’re waiting for your long-term home and disability supports. We provide care supports and accommodation until your longer-term supports are in place.
